April Fools makes me it's victim

So.many.holidays.
Why must there be one that makes us think about how to cleverly come up with an idea so deceitful and sinister that it begs to be brought to everyone's attention.
I don't have the answer to that. If you do, please let me know in the comments section below.
Here's my point to all of this .
I feel constantly bombarded with the feeling of having to celebrate something, every , single, month. Now, I like celebrations as must as the next 5 year old kid, but c'mon! There have got to be better ways to celebrate each other than being deceitful to one another. Not to mention the consumerist mindset that comes with 99% of these "holidays" .
With that said, I have to make a public mockery

of my son. I participated in this holiday , and this is the result. The damn duck tape got stuck in his hair. So much that I (we) (g'ma and aunt) had to cut out a portion of his hair.
Yes it was funny. Yes I felt bad. No I will not do it again. Yes he got back at me. (I have a bruise on my back from a snapped bra. )
So from now on, I'm gonna be doing things a bit more unorthodox, and I'm just gonna declare days' that are not holidays, into holidays. So since it's April 2, I declare it "Watch Netflix before I go to bed day."
I'll keep you posted on some of the other holidays that we come across.
Let me know if you have your own holidays that you celebrate. I would love to hear about them! And you never know, I might celebrate them with you too !
